Dallas Arcand, a Plains Cree Indian from the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) First Nations Band, was born in Edmonton, Alberta. His Hoop Dancing is widely recognized as being both innovative and evocative of ancient traditional native dance. Set against a backdrop of snow covered Rocky Mountains, his performance was stunning.
